Victoria's Secret Aqua kiss Body Lotion: SHORT Five senses review.

Looks like:
The packaging isn't too crowded with pictures and words. I also like the fact that it doesn't have a screw on lid. Screw on lids are scary especially when I've only got one free hand.I think the gold on the neck of the bottle adds some elegance to the overall appearance however, as a buyer I'm the type person who likes crisp white boring packaging with a big green plant pasted somewhere. There's just something about white fresh bottles that makes the product feel more natural especially if it's a hydrating sort of lotion. The bottle fits the brand's name well though, it reflects what type of products they are selling. If you like classy bottles for your lotions then you'll probably like the look of it but we all know appearance isn't everything and if you're like me who reads the entire contents of the back before purchasing a product then it won't matter.

The lotion itself is a pale bluish green colour. Typically like any other lotion, it comes out in a blob.

Smells like:
I love the smell! It might be a little strong for people who don't like overpowering scents. On the front it says "rain-kissed freesia and daisy". It's funny because whenever I see the word daisy, I always picture a field of them where Shrek and Donkey are running to each other in slow motion. Anyway, the lotion scent is very crisp and clean. It smells like you've just stepped out of the shower. I smell a little apple in the mix and some other fruity extracts that I can't put my finger on. I also like how long the scent lasts on my skin. I  take a shower at about 6:15 in the morning, go to school at 8:30 and finish at 3:20 and the scent is still there. It's little fainter but I can still smell it. Sometimes, I have to resist smelling my arm every five minutes. Hehe.

Feels like:
The lotion came out a little thicker than I thought it would. Then I figured a little goes a long way. It spreads evenly and I like the way it doesn't leave my skin wet after putting it on. It makes my skin soft and hydrated but if you have really dry skin then I don't know if it would work as well.

Tastes like:
I really didn't think it was necessary to attempt to try this. After all, it's not edible but if you're really curious, I doubt it tastes like the blueberry muffin we were all hoping for.

Sounds like:
Silence. I've purchased some bottles in my time that have made farting noises when the bottle was squeezed. It's not a huge bother but it might cause a few heads to turn in public places.

Overall, I recommend this product to the girls out there who aren't afraid to smell feminine and girly. I would buy this again. If you're curious about this then go BUY IT! You might like it as much as I do.

What I get a lot from being a twin.

As a twin I get things a lot that other people don't. Most of the things below don't actually irritate me but I decided to share a few things since it might have happened to you and your twin too.

On top of my list is the spot the difference game. I don't get annoyed with this at all which is strange considering the fact that we stand there awkwardly while people stare at our faces for a good five minutes. It could get a little strange when the person doesn't know you and gets all in your space but otherwise, it's fine.

Second on my list is the question: Have you ever switched places and pretended to be the other twin?
Honestly, it's not that fun when there's no evil twin or rebellious twin in the mix. I don't know about anyone else but I just can't seem to live with the fact that I got someone else in trouble for something I did even if it is my twin. Besides, my friends can tell us apart. Everyone knows that there's always one twin with a bigger rounder face and the other with a small skinnier face. I did switch places with my twin, Grace by accident once. We were helping mum in the kitchen and I took over dicing the onions (which sucks because I always cry no matter how fast I go). So I was dicing the onions peacefully and mum started talking to me but I had no idea what she was talking about. I thought it was because I was a very bad listener. It turns out, she only mentioned it to Grace and not me.

Third on my very long list is also the twin telepathy thing. No I can not read her mind but I would love to at times. Maybe there's a deep dark secret she's been keeping from me all these years, Mwahaha. I think there is something else that's similar to telepathy. Most twins understand each other. A simple nod to each other can mean Get me out of here! or He's super good looking.

Fourthly, is the question: Where's your twin?
This, for some reason, always happens outside the girl's toilets at my school. Grace and I don't have identical bladders and I'm not going to ask her to come to the toilet with me. I think I'm perfectly capable of going to the toilet on my own. However this question doesn't annoy me because it means that my other twin is not forgotten. Just because I'm here doesn't mean I make up for the other twin. We both have different things to offer. For instance, I play guitar and she plays piano. If we were in a band and Grace went missing I couldn't just hop onto the piano and play her part. Although Grace can also play guitar, I am terrible at piano. Somehow, I can't get my right hand to coordinate with my left and the PEDAL?! Yikes.

Last on my list is the typical manner of getting called the other name. It's common nature and you can't avoid it. Even two unrelated people get called a name other than their own. Yes, it's nice to be greeted by your name but is it really that bad to the point that you have to shout out "THAT IS NOT MY NAME!"?
I think the conversation is more important than the starter. Unless, you're dating of course but that's another story.

That's my top five. If anyone has anything else that comes up regularly comment on this post, I'd really like to hear and maybe it might be something that I've missed out.

Haha this is Grace and I when we were chubby babies.

I Went To The Philippines!

Hello!
A couple of months ago, my small family of four went to the Philippines. For those people who are nervous about not being able to speak the languages and who are thinking about travelling to the Philippines, DO NOT WORRY most of the wonderful people in the country know how to speak English. However, that doesn't mean you can't learn a few words to expand your cultural experience. Originally being from the Philippines (I'm full Filipino) we were actually there for a holiday as well as my grandma's 90th birthday.

To me, the food was delicious over there. As you all know, everybody has a different taste pallet so the cuisine in the Philippines might not be to everybody's liking. My favourite meal of the day is breakfast so I had to taste their breakfast meals. One dish I especially liked was The Filipino Breakfast which usually consisted of a cup of rice, fried egg and a sweet pork sausage called Longanisa. I ate it for breakfast almost everyday. It wasn't  exactly healthy but I was sure the touring around made up for it. Another dish I really liked was Lechon also known as whole suckling pig. It's normally used at fiestas and parties. We had two at my grandma's birthday and it was gone in  five minutes. The crackling was all that mattered to me at the time, I didn't care if I didn't get any meat I just had to get some crackling. I got some in the end. Yay!

If anyone has a chance to go to Dumagete, go visit the boulevard. It has been my favourite place to visit ever since the age of six. It's basically like a boardwalk with the ocean to your left and food stalls to your right or vise versa depending on where you start the walk. The food stalls sell tempura, fish balls and balut. The thought of eating a nearly developed duck didn't go down too well with me but I wanted to be adventurous. However, after staring at it for a good couple of minutes I didn't end up eating it. I ate the yellow part which was very nice but to avoid the possibility of throwing up on my twin Grace, I couldn't do it. Most people find that It's not the taste but more the texture that turns them away. One thing I loved about being in a country like the Philippines was the endless supply of fresh seafood. I'm a seafood lover and it got me really excited.   All in all I love Filipino cuisine, the combination of sour, sweet and savoury is well balanced in the cooking and if I could, I would eat it everyday.

In the provinces, Grace and I went zip lining. It was a wonderful experience as I hovered over all the greenery. I had never been on a zip line before so at first I was kind of reluctant. Grace, my daredevil sister (not really, she can't sleep with a spider on the ceiling) wanted to do it with or without me. I knew I would regret it if I didn't, so I went ahead. When I got into my harness, my first thought was: that is was really tight and I was glad I wasn't a guy but once I  pushed off from the platform, I felt a sense of relief. It was pretty relaxing, dangling several metres above the ground. It was the closest I was going to get to flying. For now.

Shopping for a whole new wardrobe in the Philippines is cheap but challenging. First of all, there is only so much you can fit in your luggage. Secondly, no refunds once you are back in your home country and Thirdly, if you are a fan of wearing real things customs might confiscate it. I attempted to buy a whole new wardrobe and by the time I got back home, I realised that I really didn't get that much clothes. To top it all off one of the blazers I bought was already tight. Luckily, some of the things I did purchase, went with other clothes in my wardrobe to make a whole new entire outfit. Forever 21 has to be the best clothes shop, I've ever visited. It's got everything, for an affordable price! If anyone has a special way they shop for clothes overseas please help me.

Well there you go. Just  a small taste of my very big holiday. If you have an opportunity to travel at a more than reasonable price, take it! Take the plunge because not many people can say they've been overseas.
